We believe organisations working with young people and families have a vital role to play in the transformation of communities and of wider society. We equip school and college leaders with the skills and tools to embed practices which strengthen communities. We also undertake research to support our aims and share the lessons through publications, training, and consultancy.
The Citizen School grew out of the work developed by pioneering schools in the UK which engaged with Community Organising methodologies as a way to enhance their sense of mission and their impact on society.
